PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed Bollywodd megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his 74th birthday. He took to his official Twitter account and composed a post that read, “Dear SrBachchan (Amitabh Bachchan), wishing you an extremely glad birthday. Your adaptability and quietude has numerous admirers. Appealing to God for your long and sound life,” Modi tweeted.
Both PM Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan are among the most taken after Indians on Twitter. While Bachchan has near 22.7 million adherents, the PM has 23.4 million supporters. Bachchan was regarded with the Padma Vibhushan, the nation’s most elevated non military personnel respect in 2015, and Knight of the Legion of Honor by France in 2007 for his excellent vocation in the realm of silver screen. Bachchan has featured in superhit movies like Deewar, Zanjeer, Sholay, Don, Black, Sarkar, Agneepath, Paa, Piku and Pink in his famous profession.
Over the years, he has been an inspiration for the entire industry. At the age of 74, the actor is unstoppable with so many brand endorsements and films in his kitty. On the birthday of this Mahanayak, biggies from B’town greeted him on Twitter. Karan Johar, who is prepping up for release of his upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, took to his Twitter account to wish Big B. He wrote, “To the LEGEND…the best who is an inspiration to every generation!!!! Happy birthday Amit uncle “you are the BEST.” Followed by Karan, it was his best friend Farah Khan who wrote, “There are heroes & then there are Legends!! Happy birthday legend Sr, Bachchan.”
Amitabh Bachchan’s film Sarkar was hailed not only in the north but south as well. It won’t be any wrong to say that he is industry’s head and seems like Puri Jagganath, south director, agrees with us totally as he wrote on his Twitter, ” LOVE YOU SARKAR” while Dhanush, who shared the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Shamitabh, chose to wish him in a simple-sober way, “SrBachchan many many happy returns of the day sir.”
